Approximately 200 people including orthopedics from Seoul, Busan, and etc. participated in the symposium. Yonggirl Rhee (Myongji Hospital), Jinyoung Park (Neon Orthopedic Clinic), and Changsoo Lee (Narsha Hospital) demonstrated shoulder surgery live. They discussed the surgical procedure of rotator cuff tear, and shoulder dislocation with the audience online.

Along with the live surgery, there were 18 academic presentations and discussion under 4 sessions. Dongki Lee at Narsha hospital presented a classification of septic arthritis of the shoulder. Daehyeon Kim at Narsha hospital presented a surgical environment to reduce infection rates.

The 1st Live Surgery Symposium for Shoulder Joint provided an opportunity for orthopedics to share knowledge and skills about shoulder surgery and treatments. The Narsha Shoulder Research Center is planning to continuously hold a live surgery symposium in the future.
