Elbow is a hinged joint consisting of three bones: humerus, radius, and ulna. The elbow joint enables people to engage in movement such as bending, stretching, and rotating. People can easily have elbow pain and problems because of the frequent use of elbows. Particularly, people who overly use arms and hands (e.g., athletics, construction workers, housekeepers) are more likely to have elbow diseases. If people have pain in the elbow for more than a few weeks, they should visit an orthopedic doctor. When neglected, the elbow problem can be worse or develop into a disease which requires a surgical procedure.
